For parents in the U.S.

Covertglass

A clearer view of public online risks around your child.

Parents enter a public profile URL and choose Check now for one rule-based review on supported sources. Nothing checks again in the background; cues do not prove grooming or intent.

A starting point for parental review—not a substitute for conversation or appropriate reporting.

01 / The approach

Review one public page at a time. Keep the parent in the picture.

A parent can request a one-time rule-based review of a public profile URL on a supported source. Covertglass shows the source and uncertainty with any matched cues. Nothing runs in the background, and cues do not prove grooming, intent, or harm.

  1. 01

    Parent-entered URLs

Begin with supported public profile links the parent enters.

  2. 02

    One public page

Review text made accessible by the specific source you requested.

  3. 03

    Possible cues

Bring a possible cue into view for a closer human review.

About

Covertglass was built by former CIA officers and current law enforcement officers to help parents take back control of their child’s safety and online activities.

Our mission

Covertglass exists to help parents see public online warning signs more clearly, so they can protect their children with context, care, and informed action.

02 / Public signals

One request, with clear limits.

Each request covers one URL the parent entered. Covertglass does not discover or link accounts, access private messages, or check again in the background. A public page review is only a limited view of what that source makes accessible.

You can also paste a public-text excerpt for deterministic rule matches with the exact phrases and nearby context shown for review.

03 / Account coverage

Connected accounts have a narrow, parent-authorized boundary.

For U.S. parents, a connection is a limited way to verify an eligible account—not a window into everything that account contains.

What a connected account can provide

An eligible Instagram Business or Creator account can provide account identity for verifying the connection. The existing instagram_business_basic permission may support basic media access, but Covertglass does not fetch or analyze Instagram posts or media in this release.

What authorization and permissions limit

The parent, guardian, or authorized adult confirms the connection through Instagram; that app-level self-attestation does not verify guardianship or create Meta delegation. Coverage is limited by provider approval, the permission actually granted, the active connection, and content the provider makes accessible.

What remains unavailable

Covertglass cannot read or manage comments, DMs, inbox content, personal teen-account content, or other accounts’ private content through this connection. If the provider, permission, connection, or requested content is unavailable, say that the content was not reviewed rather than implying a clear result.

Rule-based cues are possible cues for parent review and are not proof of intent, grooming, or harm.

Your records stay under your control.

Save a copy

Download the profile URLs you saved and the review records Covertglass currently retains.

Deletion with a receipt

Request deletion of your Covertglass account and app records. The workspace shows completion only after deletion succeeds. Stripe and Meta actions remain separate.

Data broker commitment

Private user or child data is never sold to data brokers.

04 / What a signal means

A reason to look closer. Never a verdict.

Online language needs human context. Covertglass is designed to inform a parent’s review—not decide what happened or what someone intended.

What public signals cannot tell you

  • Coverage is limited

What appears depends on what the requested public source makes accessible.

  • Context matters

A matched phrase may be incomplete or mean something different in context.

  • Language is not intent

A pattern can raise a question; it cannot determine what someone meant.

Use alerts as a starting point for parental review, conversation, and appropriate reporting when needed.

A thoughtful next step

Start with a conversation.
